Unless you are comfortable scamming people please do not work here. The whole company is extremely toxic.

The Connor Group is a high-performance, high-accountability organization, and we take our standards, our culture and our responsibility to residents seriously. We are proud of the associates who work hard every day to do business the right way, support our residents and deliver results. While our environment is not the right fit for everyone, accusations like these do not reflect who we are or how we operate.

Work/life balance can be a con or pro, I think this comes down to time management and organization. I don't have any cons if you are accountable and hard working. :)

Cons

If you are looking for a well paying morally bankrupt position where you need to work 60-65 hours a week apply right away. From my first until my last day the issues were blatant but unfortunately I had rose colored glasses. Training is a joke you have a week at “CSO” where they walk you through a phone script where you are explicitly told to not give away pricing and secure the appointment at all costs and rate one another’s properties calls. Once placed a property you may or may not get a trainer for an unspecified amount of time before you have to “figure it out”. Prospective tenants are led through a guest card to figure out their top 2 wants which basically just equates to what over priced run down apartment can I sucker this poor soul into applying for today. If you can’t get someone to apply or tour don’t worry because you will be calling them at minimum 2-3 times a day until they block you or tell you to F off. Renewing tenants aren’t treated any better as you have to deliver $100 to $400 renewals all with a 24-48 hour turnaround before the price goes up. When I asked why we need to hike rent prices up so much even though we didn’t have occupancy I was told “not raising rent devalues the property” even though we would turn around and rent the apartment for $100 to $300 less than the previous long term tenant was paying. Maintenance can’t get to all the issues because they are essentially trying to put lipstick on a pig. You are told to get 5 star reviews just to bury the cruddy ones justified tenants give. People are hired and fired faster than you can learn their names in one year alone I must have received one email memo a week that “someone didn’t fit the culture” or some other mundane excuses as to why this company is a revolving door.

We take feedback seriously, but we disagree with the way our company, culture and associates are characterized in this review. The Connor Group is a high-performance, high-accountability organization, and we understand that environment is not the right fit for everyone. We also want to be clear that this response is coming from a real person, not an automated reply. Personal attacks on our associates are unnecessary and do not reflect the professionalism we expect. We are proud of our culture, our training programs, our associates and the work they do every day to support our residents and communities.
