Good Growth Opportunities, Supportive Management, Culture Is Unbeatable

Pros

The best thing about The HOTH is definitely the culture. Management is very good at getting the best out of you without micromanaging. Sometimes when a company says they want honest feedback, they don't mean it, but they actually take it on board here.

Cons

Pay could (and should) be more competitive (or rise frequently with the cost of living).

Pros

Stepping into the door a year ago with nearly nonexistent SEO experience, I did not foresee becoming a campaign manager, yet here I am! The education and training I've received have given me a "the sky isn't even a limit" sense of opportunity and growth. The support structure for employees is an ever-available fountain of resources and people are always ready to answer questions and assist in finding solutions. The culture is unlike any other I've experienced. They aren't just coworkers, they're family and we all root for each other. There is an undeniable transparency with changes.

Cons

Sometimes the workload fluctuations can be over(or under) whelming. While it's inescapable to experience these fluctuations, management continues to strive towards a balance, and make adjustments to compensate!

A very standard job

Pros

Great benefits including health care, vision, dental, 10 base days of vacation pto, 5 sick days, uses joon & bonusly platforms, & 2 days wfh hybrid The team is very close to each other. There was always a sense of support from your coworkers because you work with a team of peers who care about your wellbeing. They train employees pretty well! They don't require SEO experience for all HOTH positions so they train you in HOTH processes and SEO knowledge. Monthly internal meetings to go over updates in the company.

Cons

The pay is pretty low compared to industry counterparts & the responsibilities of the job Management doesn't listen to feedback that employees give them so non-management employees don't feel heard, supported, or see impactful change that can help them do their jobs better. The products could use improvement, which was the source of a lot of issues. The content isn't always the best as they use freelancers to write the content, which means its hard to control the product you get as they are not internal employees.
