Pros

Small and nimble personal lines organization. Great ability for project exploration to help resolve business needs.

Cons

Nepotism is prevalent in your ability to move up within the organization and in protecting many of the tenured employees. Also, the personal lines side of the business is practiced based and many of the tenured and higher-ups are resistant to focused and reasoned application of procedures and processes.

I worked in the technology department. I thought the leadership was great. They definitely rewarded strong workers through bonuses. It was a great company starting my career in. They put a lot of time and money into training and developing their employees.

Cons

The only thing that was a con was work life balance could be a challenge. As a technology employee you were expected to work on a weekend about once a month due to deploying new technology into their systems. The pay was somewhat competitive for the location but they'd always try to low ball you.
