Unfair and unethical

Pros

Great pay and the co-workers are cool

Cons

Just because you pay an employee a great salary does NOT mean you can treat them unfair and unjust. A company MUST be ethical -- even in an At Will Work state.

Pros

Good salary and reasonable benefits. Workload was manageable but expectations are very high

Cons

It would be a good place to work if they got rid of the management team. People are targeted for termination - thus favorites are played. You are punished if you voice an original thought - there is no room for discussion. Communication is 1 way only and poor at best. Its a very demoralizing place to work. . If you think this won't happen to you - think again I have seen some of the most seasoned talented adjusters treated terribly.. You should only apply here if you are desperate for work. You need to be a sheep and yes man and you might survive - the economy is better now and there are better places to work. thank goodness I found one.

Pros

Great salary nice people to work with, hours not bad I started at 12:30-9 and when I left it was 11-7:30 benefits are great too

Cons

Antiquated systems, we had five systems we had to use to review and answer insured's policies, billing system was a joke and we had to finish calls within a certain time, holds can be only a certain as well as notating the policy when the call was done. Supervisors were not that supportive. All management cares about is upsells and crosells. If you did not meet the impossible goal they had, you were placed on a warning. Policies were expensive enough and convincing a policy holder to buy something when they are paying to much money was a hard sell No room for advancement even they tell you that there is at the interview
