Pros

The health insurance is some of the best in the area.

Cons

If you read the reviews, they are pretty accurate. Management is cruel, and they play favorites. Salary is low, and you will be expected to do more work than you could possibly accomplish during a 40 hour week. If you are in research, you should expect to devote your entire life to the lab. I had a PI tell me I wasn’t in the lab enough— I was there from 7AM to 7 PM every day. I barely saw my kids. this same PI had multiple complaints brought against her, but the lab did nothing. All they care about is how much money a particular PI brings in. They can treat their staff however they see fit. They say they give paid time off, but you aren’t allowed to take it.
