Pros
Generous clients Flexible schedule Not having to worry about marketing or scheduling I had to select 2021 as the last year I worked for them but it was 2019. The last owner I worked for sold her franchise, but she was a pleasure to work for and wasn't a control freak.
Cons
No appointments, no money Long hours to make decent money I worked at several locations throughout TX with the old business model and the new one and anytime a small company goes corporate and gets bought, everything does tend to go downhill. Product quality, making people wear hideous uniforms, taking away autonomy, trying to make a cookie cutter gimmick out of a service that should be 100% customized, bizarre training program designed by people who haven't worked as lash artists. It could have changed since i was there. It very much depends on the owner and how much respect they have for the value of their workers labor and their individual personalities.
