Pros

-I liked getting to teach the kids different mini "lessons" in my pre-k class. -cute classrooms, nice private playground.

Cons

-We were understaffed, too many children for the amount of teachers available -Management seemed to only care about money, and not the well-being of the children themselves. -food given to the children was awful

Pros

The children. The center was in an excellent location. Very clean. Most of the parents were really nice. The center looks very professional. It's a good job for someone looking for experience with children and/or who is still in school. Great family involvement.

Cons

Low pay for the work that is expected. Some parts of their lesson plan is not very age appropriate. It's run like a business more concerned about numbers and money. This is not a long term job for someone who actually cares about children. I heard some teachers swearing around and even at children. Management doesn't seem to value or care about their employees.

Pros

Great children and families Owner has a big heart Clean and sanitary facility Staff genuinely trying to do the right thing towards children and families - generally speaking Community involvement projects

Cons

Drama drama drama - management will say they they hate drama between staff but they thrive on it. Owner confuses personal generousity for professional support. Director is under qualified and enjoys being the "boss" with no concern for being a true leader. New employees under trained Ratios often broken
