I have been working with the MIL for almost a year and I have to say that in my 12 plus years and 4 other employers I have never been nor felt as valued as I do now. MIL is a great place to work. There is opportunity for advancement, as well as mobility and diversification. MIL management has high expectations for their employees, but great management styles. They are flexible and understanding of a balanced work life.

Cons

There is always areas of improvement, and I believe MIL management does an excellent job of addressing these areas.

Pros

I haven't been with MIL too long but all the people seem great and happy. They are nice, hardworking, and professional. MIL also appears to value their employees through hosting annual family corporate events and event lotteries. The on-boarding experience went smoothly. I went through the new hire orientation, was introduced to the team in the office, and was provided information on where I could get some of my new hire questions answered. After a couple weeks, I got to attend the new hire lunch. It was a nice event where you got the opportunity to meet other MIL employees and leadership as well. My overall experience has been good thus far!

Pros

It can be challenging advancing your career in the federal contracting world, but MIL has always supported me in my career growth, no matter the direction. I truly feel like they want whats best for me.

Cons

Some benefit packages could be improved.
