Flexibility is lacking and Seems afraid to upset the client

Pros

With the privatization of much of the Federal Government, we will likely have a job through this restructuring.

Cons

Management seems to fear the client. Does not want to upset them, which in turn leads to sacrificing the employee to complete the mission. With the RTO, they are less flexible, and are not willing to request situational telework from the client, leaving the employee stuck. Adding insult to injury, not all management is on the same page, leaving employees with different results in different locations.

The best thing about MIL was their straightforward, no non-sense approach to business. MIL is a company led by grown-ups. There was no silly culture building you find in other companies these days, but they still know how to have a good time. If you work smart and do a good job, you are well compensated. Leadership understands what motivates employees and delivers.

Cons

Government contracting is a fickle business.
