      Ok if You're Only Interested in Good Benefits

      Football tickets (if you're into the Buckeyes) after you've earned enough tenure to purchase them Great benefits, especially tuition (for employees and dependents is awesome!)

      Cons

      Horrible, horrible parking No career development for staff No succession planning for staff Very, very difficult to advance to another job title or career period unless you know someone who can get you into a different position Stagnant environment; many people become "lifers" just waiting to retire Pay is very low and not competitive compared to market, due to fact that it's a state institution and budget cuts are always occurring; merit increases are insulting The only people who prosper are the faculty and high level executive/administrative individuals
