      Generous PTO that accumulates and great benefits in general.

      Cons

      You'd be hard-pressed to be paid well at OSU - or at least an amount equivalent to your experience and skills.

      Pros

      There are some really great, hardworking people at Ohio State doing really great things. Being part of those teams is personally fulfilling.

      Cons

      Career Roadmap is a poison pill for anyone who is not a supervisor. You are effectively stuck in a small box for your pay no matter how well you perform. OSU has also implimented rules that don't allow employees to move to different departments and may more money unless the role is a significant promotion. Basically OSU is great if you are hired for a job and pay you are thrilled with. Otherwise, Career Roadmap solely encourages employees to leave.

      Pros

      Low stress and decent work culture. Good vacation, medical benefits, sick time, and work/life balance.

      Cons

      low pay and they typically lag behind other industries in pay. This company will never pay internal candidates market rate.
