Pros

Nice Health insurance package for a family. Cost of living is low but is increasing. The campus is a nice place to walk around if you have time to do so.

Cons

Bad pay as you would expect from a postdoc. OPERS (Automatic 10% retirement taken out of your paycheck) really hurts your paycheck especially when this is a temporary position.

Benefits!!!!! They have great health, dental and vision insurance. They also give matching contributions to your retirement fund. As an employee, you can also get some great discounts on local events such as Columbus Crew games (MLS). Smoking is also prohibited on university ground.

Cons

The parking is $74/mo. The administration is ridiculously inefficient. You need to physically walk up to the administration rep to check the current status ofor anything requiring administration. they constantly lose or misplace paperwork. Faculty have the tendency to look down on you, seeing you as a grunt.
