Pros

WOW. Where to start. I have been on the hunt for a company where I felt at home. Let me simply say that I have literally been in a constant "best mood possible" since I started with The Perfect Workout. From my video interview on I knew this was the place I wanted to be. I am so thankful to the entire Dallas team for literally welcoming me with open arms and making me feel right where I should be from Hello. They have made everything such a convenience and are always there for you. Everyone is so positive and great to be around, it's no wonder we have so many clients. If I could say anything to future employees, it would be to find the positive in any situation, over communicate with your team, and get ready to become part of the most amazing "work" family you will ever find. I GUARANTEE IT.

Cons

The only con I could probably put is I don't have any friends that are jobless, because I would tell them to come join the family!!

Pros

Many great coworkers and clients. Very intense but beneficial workouts that only last for 20 minutes.

Cons

Management has poor communication with employees. During the holidays it slows down and so does your money. High turnover rate with their employees. Some people only stay here for a month and they leave due to the pay structure. Your a robot you repeat the same script over and over everyday to clients it gets tedious!!!

Thank you for your review! We appreciate your concern, and compensation is so important to our company that is by far our biggest expense. The average hourly rate in our company is currently $19.47. Since this is the average there are naturally trainers who make less than this and trainers who make more than this. Many trainers that are on the lower side of the $19.47 average tend to be in certification, which even though the hourly pay for certification is the current minimum wage rate, this is MUCH better than having to pay to get certified like you do with other personal training companies. Furthermore, our compensation is right in line with entry level pay for personal training companies around the country. In addition, it is concerning to us that you feel there is a lack of communication between management and the trainers. Each month you attend a Regional Meeting, at which the CEO gives a forecast of upcoming studio and region openings, as well as launches major new campaigns, announces important promotions, and highlights examples of the company’s core values, from amongst the trainers. We are always looking for more ways to better communicate with the trainers because it is of utmost importance to us that you feel empowered to do your job well.

Pros

Gives proper training. No experience needed. You get free certification. Easy job to learn and you are not required to travel as a personal trainer for the client.

Cons

Starts as minimum wage. Does not give much promotion. The certification that they give can only be used within their own company. Just like other jobs in the area there tend to be superiority and racism. Makes it seem to look promising, but the longer you stay the more you realize that promotion only takes place if you have the right connections. No health benefits.

Thank you for your review! We appreciate your concern, and compensation is so important to our company; that is by far our biggest expense. Although the pay does start at minimum wage, this is MUCH better than having to pay for certification like you do with other personal training companies. We are paying YOU to become certified! Furthermore, we offer many bonus incentives including: Staff Referrals, Client Referrals, Professional Development, and Nutrition Coaching opportunities along with room for advancement and growth within the company. However, we regret that you feel promotion opportunities are not granted fairly. We promote within, and in the last calendar year we opened 3 new regions with 18 new studios. We filled all of those positions by promoting from within the company. There are also leadership opportunities within the regions as Certification Supervisors, and there is no limit to how many levels you can arise in the Professional Mastery Program. We value our employees and want everyone to succeed. We only ever promote the most qualified applicants and offer as much transparency as possible to help our trainers trust our processes. In addition, we do offer health insurance to all employees who qualify by working an average of 30 hours per week.
