Nice Place to Work

Pros

We're really lucky to have a place like this to work in this area. The salaries are good, and the benefits are good as well.

Cons

There is currently turmoil at the highest level of management. There was some sort of coup that changed senior management suddenly. Who knows how things will go from here?

As every good organization should do, Primary Health Network (PHN) conducted a review of its senior management, policies and procedures and implemented management restructuring. PHN conducted this review in an effort to continue to provide the best possible working environment for its employees as well as the best possible care for its patients. As a result, PHN has a strong leadership team in place at this time, including its Acting CEO and Acting Director of Finance. PHN will be engaging in a search soon to permanently fill these roles. PHN sees this as an opportunity to build an even stronger, more dynamic, and more inclusive organization going forward to fulfill its mission of serving the community.

Very Busy

Pros

Weekends off, holiday's off, full time - 20 days vacation to use after five years, they used to have a nice bench mark every quarter ( extra money if your office met 3 different areas) but they took that away, which is very sad. Summer events are nice.

Cons

Very busy, under staffed, lots to do not enough people to do it. Took away benchmarks that everyone looked forward too. Lots of money gets wasted on dumb things like new bunn coffee pots for all the offices and a coffee service. People would of rather had a benchmark, especially the one we all worked for the 1st quarter. That we didnt get. That started this year , we hear its being revamped but nothings happed yet. Every company has its goods and bads, or favoritism or lack of advancement, or wrong people in their titles, over all it's a decent place to work but deffinetly needs work to keep people.

Thank you for your review and your constructive feedback! We understand how important time off can be so our employees can recharge and spend time with their families, so we are happy to offer competitive time off benefits! You are correct, we did revamp our incentive program starting in March 2019, and as of June 2019, have rolled out a new incentive program for our valued employees. We feel this new incentive program will be beneficial to both our employees and our organization. We strive to find the very best staff to provide quality services for our patients and also encourage our employees to further their education or skills through internal job/promotion opportunities and tuition reimbursement programs. If you would like to discuss this further, feel free to reach out directly to the PHN Human Resources’ Department.

Pros

Monday through Friday work week. No holidays. No weekends. Fairly comfortable office environment. Solid Training when you start. Interviews are relaxed.

Cons

There are poor wages to start, followed by minimal raises each year. Insurance is outrageously expensive with very poor coverage.
