Pros

I have always felt welcome working at The Resumator. All of the employees are a joy to work with and are a blast outside of work. The Resumator has not only provided me with stability but also has given me the most satisfaction in my career.

Cons

Cannot say that I have experienced any negative activity while working at The Resumator. Business decisions must occur for a company to grow and become successful.

Pros

I’ve never experienced anything quite like it. It’s one of the best classes you could take while getting paid with benefits. The Resumator looks great on a resume. I’m always approached by some big name companies because they see my current employer’s name and the things I do. But, I’m not going anywhere. This company is still rather new and I’ve seen a lot of changes in the last two years. I can’t wait to see where we are headed next. I know I would never want to own a business and deal with the craziness it brings. I feel proud to say I work for The Resumator and all it has to offer – good, bad, funny & nutty. This company isn’t perfect, but you really do see the leaders and teams try to always find ways to re-invent and make it awesome. I actually feel a sense of family and protectiveness for the company. They cast some kind of spell where you just want to be the best at what you do.

Cons

You better play hard, because you are going to work hard for sure. You don’t want to be the weak link. In a small company, it’s hard to just be mediocre and say you are just going to do just enough for a check. You’ll be exposed. Frankly, it irked me working with some folks who tried to skate. So, if you want to just be another employee # where you’ll never see or have opportunities for one on ones with intelligent execs in a company, this is not the place for you.

Great coworkers, exciting vision

Pros

I love coming into work every morning because I work with smart, talented people who I admire. I work hard not just because I want to succeed here, but because I want to see us all succeed, and I believe we all work well together as a team. The company is going through a lot of changes, but I see the vision and am excited by it. I'm excited to contribute to the next big thing in recruiting.

Cons

The company recently relocated most of the teams in SF back to Pittsburgh, and that resulted in nearly an entire office getting laid off. I'm not going to lie, that's a pretty unsettling experience to go through, especially for companywide morale. But I believe in the vision and understand that sometimes businesses have to make tough decisions that result in non-ideal outcomes.
