Pros

Who doesn't want to work at a hockey rink? Aside from some of the players, it was a great place to work for many years. The Ducks vision for youth hockey is second to none. The Learn to Play program got so many new players involved, the tournaments they hose bring in people from all over the world, and I have made some life long friends there.

Cons

Their was a major shift a couple of years before I left, it all of a sudden became more about the bottom line than the people. I highly doubt the Ducks owners purchased any of their rinks to make a ton of money, the main club loses MILLIONS per year, but yet here we were, calling someone for a $50 balance from 6 years ago, smh. There is also no room to grow, I personally was passed up a couple of different times for different roles when I was more than qualified for them. It's all about who you know and how much you want to kiss up to the people above you, I am not about that. Our conversions, registrations, and growth were at the top of the company, yet someone who ruined programs at other rinks received a promotion and raise over me. It is what it is, I really enjoyed my 14 years there (5 under a previous owner) but I am much happier now. I rated it 4 stars because there are some great people there still and the programs are great, but based off my issues, I took it down a star.
