Great people, good industry. Kent Location has a good atmosphere.

At first the experience was great. Then after seven GM's and eight different supervisors over six years.

Pros

Benefits, Education program, non management employees are like family.

Cons

Upper management or the operators of company have experience sub par General Managers. I believe that this industry (Tunnel Boring Machine manufacturing) takes a special type of General Manager. One that has experience in the field and also in the office. In my employment with The Robbins Company i went four years without a raise. All employee evaluations were grade 3.5 or above( scale 1-5).

Pros

Knowledge of working with conveyors and very experienced employees.

Cons

No one was on the same page with drawing corrections or designs. Spent way to much time correcting each other rather than doing the project. Would have to crunch a job that would take a month to complete into weeks.
