Pros

The upside of working for SSA is that its pretty open. If you are remotely qualified, they will find a job for you. This is nice in the Detroit economy, as it can be difficult for teens to find work.

Cons

The pay is pretty low. Starting out, you can expect to be making the legal minimum wage. Although i have heard that it gets better as you come back for more years.
