Cons
If you enjoy working in a completely unorganized legal department then this is the place for you. A good majority of the huddles were people outright complaining about having to do their jobs but when presented with the opportunity to cross train others they refused or “didn’t have time”. They have an entire case management system that isn’t even used to its full potential. This leaves the manager clueless on what their employee is working on and work/deadlines are often missed. Obtaining records from other departments is a ridiculously extensive process. Peers and attorneys are rude and have no problem snapping at you when you don’t know something. The workload is over bearing and no one seems to care. I’m honestly not even sure what the attorneys do because they hire outside counsel for every case and they do the brunt of the legal work. The pay is definitely not worth the amount of work and stress at this company.
