      Equal Work - Unequal Pay

      Pros

      Flexibility. Good for getting foot in the door for permenant position. Accessible, responsive HR staff.

      Cons

      Agency takes a ridiculous commison off what the school district pays them for your services. No benefits (although you can select a plan to be deducted from your hourly pay). District employees in same position made around 100k, by comparison after Stepping Stone took its share, my take away was just over 30k (pre tax). This is industry standard with any educational employment agency. Not just SSG.

      Enjoyed my assignment at Stepping Stones. Very good hearted management, understanding.

      Pandemic made it difficult to get a closer position.

      Reasonable benefits I felt supported by my particular CFY supervisor Reimbursement allowance

      Cons

      Overall company support was poor, especially during the pandemic. Hourly pay Timesheet/hours documentation system was tedious
