In my personal experience there has been a lack of training and instruction on what exactly the role could be which varies by school and classroom. There have been a lot of times where I feel like I could have received important information and instruction to deal with certain children and how to care and manage them (usually in the severe classes). Sometimes the Paraeducator or Classroom Aide take on much more than they should be doing and that they are getting paid for, therefore we end up doing the jobs of some teachers and Behavior Interventionists/ Technicians with little pay.

Heartbreaking that review I wrote and the amazing experience with this company was so short lived by almost all of us psychs. It used to be such an amazing place to work before SSG took over now most have left and many of us won’t be returning next year. Support was amazing up u til the start of the new year then… nothing. No return calls no help no one even bothers to check in with my district any more… such a let down. No pay raise no team events anymore just like all the other agencies now but pay is less competitive… what happened
