Pros

You will find solidarity with people who start the job when you do.

Cons

Upper management has no experience in crisis, management does not like or provide support for staff who are neurodivergent. The model you use is outdated and upsets clients, meaning the help we offer is very minimal.

Pros

Coworkers were amazing and supportive

Cons

There used to be a lot more negative reviews. Also on indeed. Somehow they got them removed. This organization has always been shady and not accurately representing itself. For example a poster on here said that there were financial issues with the organization. According to management. That's not true. Their tax returns are available online. They brought in 7.4 million dollars in profit last year.

Pros

I have worked many jobs before beginning my career at The Trevor Project. For the first time in my life I feel like my identity matches my work, and I am fully accepted for who I am. I am encouraged to take time off which is a new experience for me. In some of my past employment there was a lot of guilt around taking a sick day, but it is encouraged within my current position. I feel like my work life balance is prioritized in meetings with my manager. The pay is decent too, and working remote is ideal.

Cons

There is a specific vertical within the org that has been neglected. Management within this vertical has been let go due to a recent uprising within the organization, and I am hopeful positive change is on the horizon! Everyone deserves a voice, and this particular team seems to have had that voice taken from them despite their importance to the organization as a whole.
