They hire freshly graduated individuals and gives them their first experience with the construction world.

Cons

Safety protocal/procedures are not up to speed with what other companies are doing. It appears they are very old school still.

Pros

I spent my college years doing co-op with the company. Through their benefits, offers, and willing to help me out they show that they care about keeping me as an employee. Everyone I work with is friendly and even though the company is huge, it still feels like a family business.

Cons

Depends on the project and your manager. Can vary widely. I work 50+ hours a week and it gets pretty stressful.
