Pros

Big company, but each region feels like a small business. Pay is better than average, especially if you've been recognized as a good employee by management. If you haven't had the opportunity to shine, however, they do not see you.

Cons

Hours are very long. There is a pride in understaffing projects..."we run lean". Well, too lean too often. Communication lacking

Pros

You'll have great opportunities to work on large/massive projects around the US. It's a very well known company throughout the states.

Cons

The only way is the Walsh way. The management tools & systems you'll use and learn at Walsh has no real applicable use outside of the company. There are a lot of incompetent people in upper management who knows how to talk but lacks any real knowledge or technical skills needed for success. Compensation and raises are low as the company is trying to cut cost. A lot of employees and veterans from the top down who have worked hard to make this company successful are leaving the company or "retiring".
