Pros

- Learning - Discipline - Accountability

Cons

- Self-Serving Individuals from team members to direct managers. - Toxic Work Environment. Tons of office politics. Be careful, who you mingle with. - NO WORK-LIFE BALANCE. EXPECT TO WORK 11 TO 13 HOUR DAYS EVERYDAY!!! START TIME WILL BE 5 AM AND WORK WILL END AT USUALLY 5 PM. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WORK LESS THAN 10 HOURS, EVEN WHEN YOU GET PAID FOR 8 HOURS. 10 HOUR MINIMUM IS ENFORCED SILENTLY BY THE MANAGERS. - Don't expect leadership from your managers. Experienced professionals will understand the difference between managers and leaders. - A micromanagement system will be implemented a couple of weeks after you start. - Conversation that occur during interviews are lie's in what actually transpires once you start at Walsh. - Promote individuals who are on the manager's side. A lot of favoritism. Individuals with personal opinion are neglected and thrown out of the system. - Managers have soft corner for "women" in construction due to lack of "women" in construction. The reason for the low number of women in construction is because Walsh doesn't provide any flexibility. - Managers will promote individuals serving their purpose/mindset even when other counterparts production and quality outpace/outbid. - Expect to be a Robotic machine. - Direct Management has no empathy.
