Work life balance, training, understanding what others do can sometimes be difficult to navigate, org structure is difficult to navigate

The Washington Post has been a great place to work and have been really supportive of trying to ideas for teams. During the Covid pandemic they have been really supportive of work life balance as well

flexible work-from-home arrangement, type of work is always changing, challenging problems to solve, opportunities for cross-department collaboration

Cons

401(k) matching could be improved, health care plan is sub-par compared to other companies (many employees use spouse's health plans), management does not fill mission-critical vacancies quickly
