We're grateful to be in the position not to layoff or furlough staff during the pandemic. After all, it's the people who work at The Washington Post who make it a great place to work. Thanks for your feedback about department recognition. During our quarterly Town Halls, we try to highlight innovative work from every part of the company. We'd love to hear other ideas you have to recognize all teams. Feel free to confidentially e-mail us at life@washpost.com.

Pros

Mission - there are very few companies that not only document "the first rough draft of history", but also impact history, every day, without a fail.

Cons

It's a mid-size company, so if you thrive in a highly structured, processes-oriented environment with standard operating procedures to follow, this may not be the right company for you.

Even though we are a mid-size company, we hope that this environment empowers you to shape ideas, redefine speed, take ownership and lead. Also, thank you for the advice on a work from home policy. We're exploring a variety of options for the future!
