Pros

The Post is a great place to work. I have been given great opportunity to grow and learn in this great institution. Employees are encouraged to think expansively and change the path to the future. Digital growth has been outstanding since the ownership change and I have never felt more confident in the future of this organization.

Cons

The change in ownership has changed the culture which has been difficult for some employees. Some employees lament the past rather than celebrating the bright future that lies ahead.

Pros

1) Open to new and trending technologies and fast in making technology adoption decisions: always starting with pilot and small project and then rolling to wider adoption. 2) Good teamwork. You get almost instant help system engineering, data analytics, data warehouse, business, and developers. 3) knowledge sharing. There are Maker Monday meetings for sharing new development ideas across teams

Cons

Entertainment is minimal for developers to relax after heavy mental work. There is only one ping-pong table.

Pros

Working at the Post has been a wonderful experience. Not only do I feel inspired by the amazing seasoned journalists around me, but I also feel that I am treated with great respect and encouragement. People are very organized and have excellent standards and work ethic. Organization also manages to uphold traditional journalistic values while making cutting edge advances in technology. Definitely a very exciting time to work here with Bezos adding many engineers to the mix.

Cons

I have nothing at all to complain about so far.
