Pros

It's great to be associated with the Washington Post brand and to see the changes that have taken place in the journalism and the ways to distribute it, especially over the past 2-3 years.

Cons

Overall I like the new work space, but not everyone is into the open environment. This leads to difficulty sometimes holding a conversation with a colleague while other people are working nearby. There are never enough places available for holding an impromptu conversation.

Great Opportunity as Long as you Keep Your Head Down

Talented young staff. Top of the line technology and a great brand behind you if you want to push your personal limits.

Cons

Unfortunately pushing your limits will probably be met with by passive aggressive overblown ego-mania from old-timers used to doing the daily minimum.
