Pros

Community outreach. Scholarships/Access for underserved populations. Successful wellness programs. Dedicated employees who work tirelessly for the greater cause.

Cons

The highest paid people at the top make emotionally-charged decisions without a strategy or understanding of best practices which negatively impact the front-facing staff at each of the 13 branches they support. The YMCA of Greater Seattle is fearful of change so if you are forward-thinking, innovative and wish to grow this is not the place for you.

Pros

Build great relationships, improve time management skills. Working with all of the children is a great experience. It never gets old

Cons

If you can't handle stress this job is not for you. There are days where is is very hot and you must lead an outdoor activity with a group of complaining children.
