the team I work with is great and everyone is supportive of each other

Cons

-the hours are long and you are expected to also respond to things that come in after hours, you don't get to just sign off at the same time each day. although you have set office hours, you can't really close your laptop right at 5pm -the after hours on call rotation is more like a full shift as you're working the entire time and you don't get much compensation for it -some clients can be demanding and unreasonable, you take most of the blame for things out of your control
