So Thankful to Work for THERAPY 2000

Pros

THERAPY 2000 has so many hard working and dedicated employees (field staff, office staff and management). THERAPY 2000 is a completely ethical company. They set the bar high for their employees, but this helps to improve the care provided to patients. They have a team of therapists called the "Clinical Excellence Team." This team does all that it can to provide quality continuing education and improve the skills of the clinical staff so that they can provide clinically excellent care. The owner is very involved in legislative activities and cares deeply about the patients AND his employees. We've had to endure adjustments to salaries and benefits based on the current Pediatric Home Healthcare industry, but THERAPY 2000 has been able to weather the storm and feels like a "safe" place to be right now. I LOVE working here! I work hard, but for the RIGHT reasons!

Cons

I'm really not sure that there are any cons right now. It's not easy in this industry right now, but it's not due to the company.

Pros

I loved working at the beginning. There were so many benefits, but unfortunately 90% of the benefits were taken away and salaries were cut because of state budget cuts. Almost everyone is friendly at the company. They usually have you work with children who live in the same area/town. There is a lot of great therapists working.

Cons

New management has taken over and it is definitely causing a lot stress. Many therapists have left. The company paid around the same as others but offered many benefits, and now that the company has cut benefits and pay, it is not so great to work for this company anymore. They ask for a lot but unfortunately are paying less than ever and it is just not a good situation. There was constant emails and they would place you in one city when you were interviewed but then you are spread all over the place. I hope they can overcome their growing pains.

Falling Apart

Business Outlook

Pros

- Work autonomy for sales team - Great team statewide - Good base salary

Cons

The company is falling apart from the inside. After changes in the leadership, people were being fired left and right in the name of "moving the company forward." The medicaid/healthcare market is terrible and there is no sign of it getting any better. The leadership is making quick decisions without any vision of the impact that it will have because they have no experience in this particular field.
