Pros
With the uncertainty of the times due to COVID-19, our company, under the leadership of Jerre van den Bent and his executive team, put our safety first, as well as the safety of the families we serve, by pausing all in-home visits on March 22. All at the risk of financial cost before telehealth was fully approved and funded. The company worked tirelessly to quickly move all of our visits to telehealth (it took less than a week), because safety is more important than money for them.
Cons
As with most of the state, we have stay at home orders in place. This is not a “fault” of the company. I look forward to being able to connect with our therapists/families/Dr’s once the lock down is lifted.
