Pros

Will hire ANYONE Good kids Coffee bar in the breakroom

Cons

No time to prep: The appointments are 22 minutes long (usually go over), and you have a new client every 30 minutes. You do not have any time to prep for the next appointment or write the documentation from the previous appointment. Because of this, many people have to TAKE WORK HOME in order to not be behind for the next day. The front desk is unorganized: If you have any Zoom appointments (yes, Zoom, not Telehealth) chances are you are not going to get the link to join your appointment until 5 minutes INTO the appointment. They are so unorganized and will make working there very hard. Parents will get mad about the front desk messing up and will 100% take it out on you. Probably committing insurance fraud: I was an unlicensed SLPA (working to get my hours) and I would see patients COMPLETELY INDEPENDENTLY after my first week of "training". I saw and treated over 200 kids, and on the documentation, they had us sign UNDER SOMEONE ELSE'S NAME because we were not licensed to be giving therapy. (Us means me and the other interns that started with me). HIGH TURN OVER RATE: I only worked there for 2 months, and while I was there, three people quit. So in the span of 2 months, they lost four employees. Classes: They started doing this new thing where instead of just 1:1 therapy, they are putting you in a room with 5-10 kids and expecting you to provide 1:1 therapy with all of them in 60 minutes. Although this might sound okay at first, the kids who are being put in these classes often require full support and are being put into these classes BY SOMEONE NOT EVEN IN THE UNITED STATES!! And if you see someone in a class that you know has major behavioral issues (i.e., aggressive towards other kids) and requires full support because they are still developing skills, they will not let you take them out of the class!!
