      Pros

      Benefits are great. Very good Sr leadership in Waltham.

      Cons

      It depends of the divison you work in. VP/GM runs their divison. If you have a good one, it is great. But TMO has too bad ones.

      Pros

      Thermo does a good job of promoting career development and growth. You will be offered many opportunities for enhancing your career skills. Some benefits are nice (401k).

      Cons

      Thermo likes to grow through acquisitions, but does not do a thorough job of integrating the many business units. They are willing to throw around a lot of money for an acquisition, but conservative with money for salaries and R&D.

      Many opportunities to take on new responsibilities; and if you perform well you will be recognized for your efforts. 50% or more of all promotions are filled internally.

      Cons

      Hard work -- long hours -- and we run a fairly lean organization with a minimal number of staff. You'll work hard, but there are rewards to be had.
