Pros

I was pretty content as a freelancer... until I contracted with Thesis. I found everyone at the agency to be positive, encouraging, talented, resourceful, fair, creative, and engaging -- a rare find. So I transitioned to FT employment. Fabulous company culture, from the top down. Everyone believes in each other and gets an incredible amount of work done. Leadership walks the talk, provides generous benefits, and trusts and supports their employees.

Cons

A lot of meetings; but they have a "no meeting on Fridays" policy so we have an entire uninterrupted day. :-)

Inclusivity is important, working on the Nike account is excited siloed from the rest of the agency but a strong team.

Cons

Working at an agency you wear lots of hats. Sometimes there’s not enough time to complete everything in one day.

Pros

The people, the culture, and the responsiveness to needs is what makes Thesis a great place to work. Yes, we work hard to meet client expectations, but it’s how we get there - as a team/ agency - that makes a completed project so rewarding. The ability to ask for change or setting yourself up for growth with management is also something complementary to the work - be proactive, define your trajectory and management will help you with your goals.

Cons

I think anyone might see insane growth as a warning, but Thesis has a plan, takes action and defines what the future looks like, being as transparent as possible along the way. Rapid growth comes with teething challenges, but without change, you won’t be sustainable as an agency. Thesis is stepping up to meet demand.
