Pros

Great culture, good learnings, smart people. Thinking Machines has curated some of the best young talent in the Philippines that is hard to find outside the company.

Cons

Management has been on a decline for some time, and being spread thin is expected from most employees. Unsure about what the trajectory of the company looks like due to unclear changes in priorities

Great experience

Pros

1. Very fast-paced, expect to learn a lot starting on day 1. Learning never really stops. 2. High level of trust and autonomy is given to employees to make their own decisions early on 3. Given the size of the company, even technical roles will involve client-facing work. Whether this is a pro/con depends on your goals and preferences. 4. Strong documentation culture. It's easy to learn from others prior experiences without relying on them.

Cons

1. Due to the companies size as a startup, expect some processes to not be standardized yet. If system and process design is something you enjoy doing, this could be a pro. If you're coming from a more mature/bigger organization, this could be a con.

Pros

- Great people and company culture - Exposure to C-suite and to the forefronts in technological developments - Fast-paced - you are sure to professionally grow

Cons

- At the time of writing, company direction is unclear with multiple changes - Salary could be better for the workload - Managers are busy with their own workload, and training for managers seems inconsistent
