Pros

- Chairs were ok - They supplied breakfast (but you were always too busy to have any) - The pay is okay, but it only changed recently. You are also working double the hours of most jobs so keep that in mind. - Good office location (this is completely unrelated to the actual company and more to do with the logistics of London)

Cons

Where to begin? This is the worst workplace I have and ever hope to come into contact with, A complete waste of time and I would not recommend to my worst enemy. 1. You will have no life if you work here, You are expected to be on call 24/7 and chased by people about every 7 minutes. You are also expected to work late pretty much everyday until 7-9pm (For absolutely no reason, no one is picking up the phone because they have a life). If like me, you struggled to understand this way of working, don't worry! Your manager will make sure they write up a timeline of your day's activities which will cover approximately every second of every hour. Want to catch up with a colleague? Nope. Want a coffee? Nope. Want to go to the gym afterwork? It better be open late! Even during the obnoxiously long recruitment process, different staff would randomly call me anytime every other day to make sure I was still going to work there. 1/1000 red flags. 2. The work. Firstly I am not sure who writes the job descriptions at Third Bridge, but they need firing. This is a cold calling job, no skills or intelligence required. It is all just luck who you will be begging to work with you that day. You work on 3-5 'projects' which you are expected to get results for every single day.(You have to do that to get anywhere close to your target). This means downloading personal info off the web, cold emailing, cold calling, leaving multiple voicemails and texting until you get an answer, which 99% of the time will be in the form of them asking you to never contact them again. I have never felt so uncomfortable at work. Senior associates let me know I would never reach this target on day 1. An inspiring start. 3. Everyone is looking to leave, it creates a horrendous atmosphere with people crying everyday. Mental health awareness does not exist at Third Bridge - you are a number, that's it. They do not care. 4. You could not book off holiday for multiple periods throughout the year, as it was causing 'business to fall' during those times. (Hire more people?) 5. This is nothing to do with finance or understanding the market, which is what it claims to be. You are going to learn nothing, just how to harass people, begging them to work for your client for free. Do not waste your time on this company. It will burn you to the ground and you will hate your life, you are worth more.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are disappointed to read about your experience. At Third Bridge, we strive to ensure that all our employees feel valued, fairly compensated for their contributions, and the wellbeing of all our employees is extremely important. We have lots of resources internally to support mental health, including our Mental Health First Aiders in the London office, and regular events related to wellbeing. Career development and learning are incredibly important areas of focus for us at Third Bridge and we continue to work on ways to promote internal mobility and the opportunities across the business that come out of a fast-paced and high growth company such as Third Bridge. We believe that our client-facing team members develop a variety of transferable skills and progression opportunities at an early stage, that are unique to Third Bridge and further proven by the impressive careers our alumni go onto! Regarding our job descriptions, we have worked hard to further refine our recruitment processes to ensure that all candidates interested in a role at Third Bridge fully understand what is involved and have opportunities to test drive some of the tasks they will be given so that no one takes a role that they do not understand. Your feedback will be taken into consideration as we work towards improving these aspects of our organisation. If you have additional feedback to share, please reach out to theteam@thirdbridge.com.
