Great company, really fun people and interesting work, learn about a new industry every day by speaking to the worlds experts on that subject.

Cons

Have to be good at time management otherwise the day can be a bit of a struggle.

+ Gives an interesting insight into both the consulting industry and the investment industry (we often have clients coming in giving us presentations on investment decisions) + A great introduction into the corporate world + The two owners really focus on training you, not just for CognoLink work but to better place you for whatever your future career plans are (we have talks on MBA advice, setting up your own business, and moving into other spheres) + The focus on 'fun' and 'teamwork' makes this an incredibly enjoyable place to work with everyone encouraging you to perform as well as you can + Very flat structure, and frequent feedback sessions with opportunities for quick movement up the ranks + The pay is very good for such relaxed hours

- The office is quite cold in the winter

Pros

1) You’re rewarded quickly; if you work hard you’ll see the benefits immediately. 2) The calibre of the employees is really impressive and everyone has a great attitude ie: really friendly, no politics, loads of great personalities. 3) I've learnt so much working here & have been given a lot of responsibilities early on in my career – this is exactly why I wanted to join a small company.

Cons

1) The hours can be demanding, but it really depends on how quickly you get things done. I do work until 7pm/8pm when there's a lot on, but I expected this to be the case because of who our clients are and the sorts of hours they do. 2) If you’re the sort of person who likes the idea of being part of a huge corporation, then CognoLink wouldn't be for you.
