      Pros

      It sounds like a cliche but the best thing about this company is the people, and I think the people are also why the company is successful. Working here you feel as though everyone is working towards the same thing and celebrating achievements together. People really care about doing a good job and take pride in what they do, something I think is quite rare given conversations with my friends about their jobs. I think that the ones who have complaints have never worked anywhere else, so they have nothing to compare it to.

      Cons

      There are no significant cons that I can think of. If there were any, I wouldn't work here.

      Hi, Many thanks for taking time to write this review. We totally agree with your comments that it is the people who make all the difference. While this is true for any company, it is very much so the fact here at Third Bridge. The company invests heavily in people development and training and making sure that we are adapting to ways of working. As an example, the HR and L&D teams are going through planning a new initiative which will allow the company to be more transparent with employees and also give the employees a chance to voice their ideas and opinions directly to the management rather than on Glassdoor or social media (which we welcome as well!). We are also looking at ways in which we can hire experienced staff from outside of the company and also to develop and equip internally promoted managers with the right skills and tools.       Pros

      - Trusted from the very start to grow and constantly learn more - Provides training for subjects that are both in the interest of the company but also topics that will help your career. - A lot of responsibility early on - A great team to work with - people here are very good at putting themselves in your shoes. - A great opportunity to visit other offices within the company - A management team that is very approachable

      Cons

      - There are not many Cons working at Third Bridge. If there was one thing that could be improved on I would suggest that there could be more celebration of the achievements outside of the Operations teams. Core teams do a lot to ensure the running of the Operations team is smooth.

      Professional Development: - Third Bridge provides excellent learning opportunities for those who take advantage of the opportunities available. There is a good balance of on-the-job and formal training provided. The company also provides support for additional training and is supportive of employees wishing to undertake the CFA etc. I was pushed to challenge myself and learned a lot during my tenure, which has stood me well in my career and led to early promotion both at Third Bridge and in my subsequent employment. This is the main reason I would recommend for graduates and those with several years' experience to develop their career here - you will get exposure to multiple industries and strong business experience that is multifaceted and easily transferable internally at Third Bridge or elsewhere in future. Colleagues: - You get to work with extremely smart, dynamic individuals in a fun environment. I really enjoyed my five years at the company and made lasting friendships. The balance of challenge and fun provided by fellow employees contributed to a positive working environment. This was complemented by a company commitment to employee well being, including a very popular annual ski trip! Management were approachable and willing to engage with employees at all levels, which again contributed to good team feeling and enjoyment in going to work.

      Cons

      - You need to be prepared to challenge yourself and take advantage of the opportunities provided - proactivity is needed to make the most of your experience here. - Hours can occasionally be a little long, but this is balanced by a good work environment and working conditions
