Micromanagement, poor work-life balance (60+ hours), for NYC standards - low pay.

Pros

Young employees and fun office, free food and drinks in the office. Some office nights out, as well as trips for "team building".

Cons

Don't develop any real skills besides speaking on the phone. Not real research as advertised, basically a glorified call center. Ripe for an SEC takedown on insider trading post-SAC.

I could write a whole paragraph. But would not recommend if you have another option. High turnover while I was there, management was very selective. And managers just don't know how to manage a team.
