Collectively, LCs felt disrespected by admin. We were the last to find out anything. We were told that we were teachers for the team centers but we were treated by admin like student interns. We were not allowed to participate in PLC even when when we were teaching classes for weeks due to teachers quitting. We were surprised to find out we had a weekly duty even though we were told at hire that we would not have duty. We were never offered extra pay for subbing or teaching in the interim even though hired teachers were offered stipends to zoom to other classes. Then many of us were told we would not be welcomed back the next school year even though we were the most popular educators at the school. Admin treated us like know-nothings. We were periodically given feedback that seemed like a rigged slot machine. We were often put in situations where we were supervising 50+ kids with nothing to do. There was a nearly 100% turnover for the entire school staff. I would not recommend working here at this time. And if you do, plan on it being just for a year.
