Hard work, but rewarding

Pros

Once you understand the complexity of the clients we serve and the trauma they have endured, you have to screen out employees who are not healthy and aren’t willing to look at themselves. There is a reason this hands off facility is still successful 50+ years when many residential facilities have closed down. Good benefits and insurances.

Cons

Hard work, long hours but rewarding to see clients get healthier.

Working at Third Way center as mental health counselor is an excellent opportunity to get hands -on experience with traumatized and mentally ill adolescents in the mental health field. The therapy is prioritized, which makes it a strong program.

The schedule can be difficult as there are some weird hours
