Pros

Supportive coworkers and friendly faces made the day-to-day more bearable.

Cons

Leadership is disconnected and unapproachable, often driven more by ego than by collaboration. Management tends to be reactive instead of strategic, which creates constant fire drills and unnecessary stress rather than long-term solutions. The overall culture is toxic, dominated by fear, favoritism, and micromanagement. Compensation is not competitive and does not reflect the heavy workload or long hours expected from employees. Input from staff is routinely dismissed, and any feedback that challenges leadership is often seen as disloyal. Turnover is consistently high, yet it’s brushed off as people “not being a good fit” rather than leadership acknowledging the systemic issues driving employees away. Opportunities for growth are minimal unless you happen to be part of leadership’s inner circle.

Pros

Free stylish attire you get here and there for free. Some very good people in there (selective few).

Cons

Has a "favorites" culture, can sometimes feel cliquey, with certain individuals receiving preferential treatment. Toxic environment, unfortunately, the office atmosphere can be draining due to negative interactions and interpersonal conflicts. Lack of diversity - the workforce lacks representation, primarily comprising women. Poor HR practices. HR procedures are subpar, leading to ineffective conflict resolution and a lack of support for employees.

Thirty Three Threads Response

Thank you for your feedback. We understand that everyone’s experience is unique, and we appreciate you taking the time to share yours. We're especially mindful when concerns come from current team members, as they help us take meaningful steps toward improvement. Regarding your comment on diversity, we recognize the gender makeup of our team is influenced in part by the boutique fitness industry we serve, which is predominantly female. That said, we value diversity in all forms and remain committed to fostering a workplace where everyone feels included and respected. To help strengthen our culture, we've implemented several initiatives — including a cross-functional Culture Committee that meets monthly to represent voices from all departments (including remote employees), and a revitalized appreciation program featuring Employee of the Quarter and spot awards to recognize contributions across the organization. We know that building a positive and inclusive environment takes ongoing effort. Your feedback is being taken seriously, and we welcome continued input as we work to make Thirty Three Threads a better place to work for everyone.
