      Good pay and benefits with reasonable work schedule

      Cons

      Even being a member of a well known union, I lost my job over some very petty reasons and the union had no power to get it back. However, there were several people that were fired for the same or similar reasons and did get their job back.

      Pros

      Easy money, no stress, you are not held accountable because your supervisor has no idea what you do or even what he/she is doing.

      Cons

      It's a dead end, waste of time kind of job. Very high rate of turnover. There are no systems in place to logically make decisions or solve problems. Everything flows downhill to the bottom and at this company, engineering is pretty close to the bottom. Everything you do is micro-managed. The work processes are very outdated and very inefficient. Management really could not care less about your ideas to make your work more efficient and of higher quality. Lots of finger pointing and back stabbing.
