Pros
Product is incredibly valuable to users, internal partnerships start with trust, good people who want to work together to get work done. Leadership is transparent and frequently communicates to the company at large. A lot of people with great experience - many different backgrounds so fun to collaborate on best practices from multiple other companies. Candor and support from my immediate team. Benefits are great.
Cons
With work happening globally, one must be creative in disseminating information - the time zone overlap can be difficult. Using Slack / Emails / Clips is helpful.
