Pros

- Competitive salary, awesome perks and benefits - Good product and decent competition for their competitors - Global hackathon is a program to look forward to - It is a place to mint money. You can easily live your life cashing in while searching for a job elsewhere which really motivates you workwise - You learn to deal with fake people. It is a valuable life-lesson!

Cons

- Most of the policies are replica of other organizations - A distinctive bias can be seen towards certain departments - Lack of concrete career planning/growth opportunities. - Power play and politics very prevelant - Hiring practices are not convincing. Offer details were also never clear. - Core Values proclaimed in the company website was a mere eyewash - Low regional diversity. Survival in the company is based on your conversational skills in Hindi/Punjabi - Lack of planning. - Pretty slow paced for a start-up.

Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts with us. I am disappointed to hear that you didn't have a great experience while at ThoughtSpot. We are striving to be an employer of choice and I believe we have made some strides in that direction. Of course, there is always more that can be done. We are definitely looking at ways to support employee development and growth. We are also exploring ways to do a better job of hiring a more diverse team.

Pros

The product has some features which competitors don't have. There are so many things to improve that there isn't a lack of opportunities.

Cons

- Brown, Male, Indian is what the 90% employees look like. - Only 25% of the people are from good background and mentally sharp. - Culture is quite non-existent. - The design of most components is hollow - and not meant for scale. - Most features are good only for small deployments - eg most Rest APIs take > 10 seconds for medium deployments. - Most people are trapped with stock options which cost a lot - and IPO does not seem any time near. Leaving the company forces you to buy those options.
