Pros

Good benefits Good product, engineering, and opportunity to learn from those teams

Cons

Leadership and management needs an upgrade, several VPs and directors are just promoted due to the time spent in the company but does not possess the skills at that level, this ultimately leads to poor management, lack of knowledge, and biased decision making in terms of promotions/opportunities/terminations, etc. Even though it's a start-up leadership does not evaluate major decisions made at each org level, and the VPs, directors have full freedom to do as they please which often leads to favoritism, and unfair practices at org level. Used to have upward feedback, however if you say the truth you will be most certainly punished, the company has removed the upward feedback in recent times.

Pros

Nice health benefits? Big budget I could use in planning events? Praise from upper management - until you are better than your boss.

Cons

Jealous boss who wouldn’t turn in my HR issues to the department; never had my back yet acted as she did. Oh let’s not go into the corrupt HR dept. Men are held up to a different standard. I traveled 2/3 of the month. 10 hour workdays. Harassment from male employees, thinking they can talk to a woman in a certain way. FAKE upper management. Cult-like culture. If you’re out, you won’t be spoken to again.

Pros

The product has some features which competitors don't have. There are so many things to improve that there isn't a lack of opportunities.

Cons

- Brown, Male, Indian is what the 90% employees look like. - Only 25% of the people are from good background and mentally sharp. - Culture is quite non-existent. - The design of most components is hollow - and not meant for scale. - Most features are good only for small deployments - eg most Rest APIs take > 10 seconds for medium deployments. - Most people are trapped with stock options which cost a lot - and IPO does not seem any time near. Leaving the company forces you to buy those options.
