Pros

The people are truly amazing. Very in tune with how to treat each other with respect and dignity. They are some of the best. It’s created a baseline of what to expect in tech for me. In some ways, even made me a better professional.

Cons

Career path for design feels like an afterthought. You really have to be individually motivated and decipher some materials meant for other disciplines. Maybe because of the lack of true understanding of the value of design it feels that financial compensation is less competitive.

Pros

Still some agility left. Old timers rule the company. No place for new ideas.

Cons

You have to "align" with right people.

Pros

- Travel perks (on hold due to covid) - Networking - easy to approach people of all skill sets - Able to pave your own career path (but may be difficult for those who prefer structure and clear guidelines) - Inclusion and diversity goals (they try, it doesn't always work)

Cons

- Below average salaries - Dev forward thinking (versus product forward) - Lack of accountability (flat org problems) - Not enough transparency into operations
