Pros

- Awesome colleagues - Tons of opportunities to travel around the U.S. and around the world - Relatively flat hierarchy - True advocates for the progress on the developing world - Open source champions e.g. Selenium, JBehave, Calatrava

Cons

- Some colleagues are extremely judgemental and non-team players (mileage may vary) - One person's experience is likely very different from another...it all depends on the kind of project you are staffed on - Professional growth takes a back seat to actual business need when staffing on projects

Pros

A company that hires the best of the best to deliver compelling agile software development and management services to its large global client base. A very fast paced environment that is stimulating as well as demanding. Probably the smartest people I ever worked with.

Cons

Full of cliques. Chicago is the center of the universe. Lots of competition for thought leadership. A few sacred cows that are untouchable. Some mid-level managers are real dinks who are fairly dysfunctional. Helps if you are fairly political and can survive in that kind of an environment.

Pros

Great culture, very laid back and as long as you show up and get your work done you are meeting expectations

Cons

Very difficult to get any salary increases or promotions. Lived in fear of layoffs bc there were often not a lot of projects so I was often on the bench for months at a time
